I offer evidence-based counselling for adults healing from childhood trauma.
My approach combines EMDR therapy, endorsed by the World Health Organisation for trauma recovery, with equine-assisted psychotherapy (ground-based, no riding) to support regulation and self-awareness,
Sessions take place in a calm, nature-based Porepunkah setting near Bright, servicing clients across North East Victoria, Albury, and Wodonga.
Together, these therapies provide safe, effective support for trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
Q1: Do I need to talk about every detail of my childhood trauma?
No—EMDR and equine assisted therapy allow processing without re-telling every detail. Many clients find this less overwhelming than traditional talk therapy.
Q2: What if I don’t remember everything from childhood?
That’s okay—therapy works with the memories and feelings you do have and focuses on present-day triggers as well.
Q3: I’ve tried counselling before, and it didn’t help—how is this different?
EMDR and equine-assisted approaches work with the body and nervous system, not just thoughts. This can unlock healing where talk therapy alone has stalled.
